There were delays of around two hours on a stretch of I-95 after a tractor-trailer crash in Fairfield County.
The crash happened on the northbound side Friday morning, Aug. 21 at around 4 a.m., initially shutting down all lanes in Darien between Noroton Avenue/Exit 10 and Route 1/Exit 11.
One lane reopened around daybreak with traffic backed up to Harvard Avenue/West Avenue (Exit 6) in Stamford.
The highway did not fully reopen until the end of the morning commute.
